Poetry Prompt: Surviving The Ocean

She plunged into the oncoming billows

Sank deep taking root like a willow

Wave after wave

Praying to be saved

Hoping the tide would turn

Beginning to flux from what she discerned

As she could see the offing

She began coughing

Forced her mind back to the current issue

Tears ever flowing, no need for tissue

She would be the reason she drowned

Many swimming lessons but no strength found

There he was walking on water

No way he would loose his daughter

Faith rose up like he taught her

She suddenly remembered how to walk on water
